Vintage Travel poster produced for the London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS), promoting expres rail travel to the Lancashire seaside resort of Blackpool, showing holiday-makers strolling on the new seafront promenades, with Blackpool Tower and pier in the background. Artwork by Chesley Bonestell (1888-1986). Bonestell later became known as the 'father of space art', creating photorealistic paintings and contributing to the beginnings of the USA space programme in the 1940s and 1950s.
