Vintage travel poster produced for the Great Western Railway (GWR), promoting rail travel to the county of Cornwall from Paddington Station, London, showing cliffs, the sea and a small fishing village and harbour. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who designed posters for the GWR, LNER, Orient Line and Belgian Railways, and claimed to have started a landscape school in English poster design.
This is truly an outstanding quality print. It is printed on excellent quality Fujitsu photographic paper. It is not a cheap flimsy poster.
