This travel poster was originally used by a Northern Ireland Railways to promote tourism in Northern Ireland. The poster shows an image of the beautiful and popular tourist destination of Downhill and Benone strand in the north west of Northern Ireland. This stretch of beach is seven miles long and has been awarded numerous blue flags for its excellent water quality. Wild dolphins and Porpoise can regularly be seen when walking the beach.
The poster shows an image of a train entering a tunnel at the downhill side of the beach. In the background you can see the hills of Donegal.
The age of the original travel poster dates to 1970's approximately.
