Glen Ogle, Perthshire, BR (ScR) Vintage Travel Poster

Poster produced for British Railways (Scottish Region), showing locomotive winding through the picturesque Perthshire countryside in Scotland. c 1950s. Artwork by Terence Cuneo (1907-1996). From the 1940s onwards Cuneo was commissioned by BR to paint many railway scenes for posters. Terence Cuneo was a prolific painter and his compositions also include portraits, ceremonal and military subjects. The artist studied at Chelsea and Slade Art Schools, London. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd. London & Dunstable.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
