This travel poster was originally used by British Railways to promote tourism to Portstewart in Northern Ireland. The poster shows an image of Portstewart harbour (a beautiful and popular tourist destination in County Londonderry). In the background you can see a dominican convent. It used to be a castle owned by the O'Neill family.
The original was painted by Kennith Steele. He used vivid colours.
The age of the original travel poster dates to 1952 approximately.
This is truly an outstanding quality print. It is printed on excellent quality Fujitsu photographic paper. It is not a cheap flimsy poster.
