Travel Poster of Cushendall in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The original travel poster was produced for the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to Northern Ireland. The poster shows a landscape view of the rocky coastline, with hills and mountains in the background and clouds rolling across the sky. Artwork by Eric Hesketh Hubbard, a painter, etcher and furniture designer. He directed the Forest Press and published a number of books. He belonged to the Cheltenham Group, the Society of Graver Printers, the Colour Woodcut Society and the New Forest Group of Painters.
I believe the age of the original travel poster to be dated around 1944 approximately.
This is truly an outstanding quality print. It is printed on excellent quality Fujitsu photographic paper. It is not a cheap flimsy poster.
