Vintage travel poster produced for British Railways (BR) to promote the coastal resort of Largs, Ayrshire as a healthy holiday destination. Illustrated with view of the town. c 1950s. Artwork by Montague Birrell Black. The artist was born in Stockwell, South London, and concentrated mainly on military and naval subjects. Montague Black also designed posters for various railway companies. Printed by London Lithographic & Co, London.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
