This travel poster was originally used by British Railways to promote tourism to the seaside resort of Bangor in County Down ,Northern Ireland. The poster shows an image of a small harbour in Bangor which is still there today. It shows a coast guard building and cottages in the background. It also shows a view of boats in the harbour, with holidaymakers sunbathing on the rocks. Artwork by A J Wilson.
The age of the original travel poster dates to 1952 approximately.
This is truly an outstanding quality print. It is printed on excellent quality Fujitsu photographic paper. It is not a cheap flimsy poster.
