Northumberland, Seahouses. British Railways Vintage Travel poster by J G Fullerton
Poster produced for British Railways (BR) to promote rail travel to Northumberland. The poster shows a view of Seahouses on the north coast of Northumberland, which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It also provides a vital link for visitors to Northumberland National Park and the Farne Islands. The artist J G Fullerton has captured the beach and lots of fishing boats with the foghorn tower at the end of the pier clearly visable. Bamburgh Castle is standing in the distance.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
