Travel poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) and London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to Royal Deeside in Eastern Scotland. The poster shows a view of a river meandering through the countryside, with the mountains seen in the background. Artwork by Frank Newbould, who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER (London & North Eastern Railway), GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways.
This Poster dates to 1935.
