Southern Railway travel poster. Summer-Time in The French Riviera

Vintage Travel Poster produced for Southern Railway (SR) to promote services to the South of France in summer, a place promoted as 'inexpensive, amusing and gloriously warm'. The poster shows a view of the promenade and beach, which is filled with colourful beach umbrellas and people sunbathing. 1928. Artwork by F Whatley. Printed by McCorquodale and Co Ltd of London.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
