Ballinahinch, Galway. GSR Irish Vintage Travel Poster by Walter Till

Product code: XS-715

Product information

A Great Southern Railways travel poster of Ballinahinch in County Galway on the west coast of Ireland. The town, also spelt as Ballynahinch, lies on the route of the former railway line from Galway city to Clifden (the Capital of Connemara). The artist Walter Till has skillfully recreated a beautiful scene of this area with his painting. It shows a placid river and its colourful banks with cattle grazing in the pastures. Also in the background you can see Ballynahinch Castle at the foot of the mountain. This has to be the Land of Scenery and Romance.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
