Product Description
This Irish travel poster was produced around 1904 to promote the new Belfast - Heysham ferry Route. It shows Belfasts neighbouring coastal town of Bangor and describes it as ‘Ireland’s Premier Watering Place’. Many sailing boats can be seen in Bangor harbour along with the pier and inset is an enticing illustration of the sheltered Ballyholme Bay which is practically at the entrance to Belfast Lough. Artist as yet is unknown.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
