This British Railway Irish travel poster shows Bangor in County Down, Northern Ireland.  The poster depicts the old Custom House, I believe the smaller shoreline building was a boatyard that hired out rowing boats, Quay Street, the tourist information office and looking forward toward the Royal Hotel. The Artist Claude Buckle has given this painting a mediterranean look and is quite different to what is there today. Very interesting to compare the differences! 

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
