Product information

A London and North Eastern Railway poster promoting quicker travel by rail. c1928. The River Tweed and the town of Berwick are protrayed with an unusual display of bold and vibrant colours. In the foreground is a pink painted house on a quay, with a sailing vessel moored alongside. Beyond is the river, with the town on a hill in the background. To the left of the town are Berwick's three bridges, the 17th century Old Bridge, the Tweed Bridge of 1925 and the Royal Border Bridge with a passenger train crossing it. In the distance are the hills of southern Scotland. Artwork by Frank Henry Mason.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
