Poster produced in 1941 for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) engouraging rail travel to Northumberland. A peaceful scene has been painted of two small rowing boats moored on the River Tweed with a train speeding overhead across the Royal Border Bridge. The artist Van Jones has used one of its arches to frame a distant view of the Royal Tweed Bridge and Berwick Bridge further downstream.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
