This poster was produced by Great Western Railway to encourage travel to the vibrant cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth in Dorset. The miles of golden sand, sparkling sea and numerous attractions promotes ‘Health & Pleasure’. The poster shows a woman in a purple dress looking down to the beach. 1923-1947. Artwork by G D Tidmarsh.
