Poster produced by London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) in 1925 to promote rail and sea services to Central Europe via Harwich. The artist has chosen Prague and has captured the remarkable architecture of the famous Charles Bridge which crosses the Vltava River. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He also designed posters for the GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways.
