This Travel Poster dates to 1947.
Travel Poster produced for the Southern Railway (SR) and Great Western Railway (GWR) to promote the companies’ services to Southampton and Weymouth respectively for connecting ferries to Jersey. The poster shows a view of Jersey Castle (Mount Orgueil), with a rural scene with houses and cows in the foreground and the sea in the background. Artwork by Allinson.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
