Cornwall, Padstow. Vintage Southern Railway Travel poster by EH Hubbard

Product code: S-884

Product information

Poster produced for the Southern Railway (SR) to help promote rail travel to Cornwall using the strapline ‘See The West Country From The Train’. The poster shows a steam train approaching the girder bridge over Little Petherick Creek, a tributary of the River Camel joining Padstow and Wadebridge. Artwork by Eric Hesketh Hubbard who studied art at Heatherleys, Croydon School of Art and Chelsea Polytechnic.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
