Travel Poster produced in the 1930’s by the Southern Railway (SR) to encourage rail travel to the coastal resort of Deal, in Kent. It shows people on a gloriously sunny day enjoying the beach and seaside and promotes ‘Frequent Expresses & Cheap Fares’. The artwork is by Sir Herbert Alker Tripp (1883- 1954).This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
