Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) in 1941 to promote rail travel to the coastal resort of Dovercourt Bay, near Harwich in Essex. The poster shows a woman looking down across the sunny sandy bay and a man on the promenade below can be seen waving up at her. Artwork by Percy Padden.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
