Poster produced in 1935 for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to the historic city of Durham. The artist Sydney Lee has painted Durham Castle and Cathedral from a view point which shows the medieval stone built Elvet Bridge stretching across the River Wear.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
