Product Description

Rathlin Island, an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ along the Antrim Coast and Glens and is the most northerly inhabited offshore point of Northern Ireland measuring 4 miles from east to west, and 2.5 miles from north to south. It is also a special area of conservation and the RSPB has a nature reserve here offering spectacular views of the tens of thousands of birds which have made Rathlin their home. It is also home to three lighthouses. The East Lighthouse which is the oldest of Rathlin’s lighthouses sits high above Bruce’s Cave at Altacarry Head. It has been flashing a warning to shipping since 1856 and is a vital component of the traffic separation scheme in the North Channel. Photograph captured at sunrise by Tom McDonnell.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
