This British Railways (Eastern Region) poster was designed and produced to help encourage rail travel to Northumberland. The famous stone built ‘Roman Wall’ is now a World Heritage Site and originally stretched from the west coast across 73 miles of spectacular countryside to the east coast. Hadrian’s Wall is a very popular tourist attraction in Northern England and the artist Jack Merriott has painted an east facing section of this incredibly preserved landmark.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
