Vintage London Midland & Scottish Railway poster produced between 1923 and 1947 to promote rail travel to Hereford, ‘The Centre For The Wye Valley’. The magnificent 11th century Hereford Cathedral stands proudly in the background whilst fashionably dressed people gather at the river bank just in front of the old Wye Bridge, perhaps waiting to enjoy a boat trip. Artwork by Claude Buckle.
