Poster produced by London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to Hornsea, East Yorkshire, Lakeland by the Sea. 1926. This vibrantly colourful poster shows three people sitting on a groyne at the edge of the sea with the beach and seafront beyond. Artwork by Harry Hudson Rodmell (1896-1984).
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
