Product Description
Travel poster produced around 1930 by Great Southern Railways to promote tourism to Killarney in County Kerry, Ireland. Killarney is located on the northeastern shore of Lough Leane, which is part of Killarney National Park. Owing to its natural heritage, history and also the starting point of the famous 110 mile ‘Ring of Kerry’, Killarney is still a popular tourist destination today. The poster shows a tranquil view of the lake possibly from the small peninsula where Lough Leane and Muckross Lake unite. Artwork by Walter Till.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
