Product Description
A London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) travel poster produced in 1924 to promote rail travel to Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The poster shows a view of Lincoln Cathedral proudly soaring above the city skyline and overlooks Brayford Pool. The picturesque marina is busy as always with fishing boats and various other sailing vessels. Artwork by Fred Taylor who exhibited at the Royal Academy and various other London galleries. He worked for the Empire Marketing Board, LNER, London Transport and several shipping companies.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
