This travel poster was originally used by British Railways to promote tourism to the seaside resort of Bangor in County Down, Northern Ireland. The poster shows an image of a small harbour in Bangor which is still there today. It shows a coast guard building and cottages in the background. It also shows a view of boats in the harbour with holidaymakers sunbathing on the rocks.  Artwork by A J Wilson.

The age of the original travel poster dates to 1952 approximately. 


This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
