Product Description
Vintage Travel poster produced in the early 1950’s for British Railways (BR) Eastern Region showing a quaint whitewashed watermill built on top of a rustic bridge. In the foreground a stream banked with colourful flowers flows by. Artwork by Terence Cuneo, who studied at the Chelsea and Slade Art Schools. In addition to a long career designing railway posters, he also painted portraits (including royal portraits) and ceremonial and military subjects.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
