Product Description
English Travel Poster produced in 1951 for British Railways (Western Region) to promote rail services to Ross on Wye in Herefordshire. The artist Jack Merriott has painted people relaxing in boats on the calm waters of the river Wye with a fisherman on the bank. In the background is a delightful view of the town with the spire of St Mary’s Parish church clearly visable.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
