Product Description
Rathlin Island, an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ along the Antrim Coast and Glens and is the most northerly inhabited offshore point of Northern Ireland measuring 4 miles from east to west, and 2.5 miles from north to south. It is also a special area of conservation and the RSPB has a nature reserve here offering spectacular views of the tens of thousands of birds which have made Rathlin their home. It is also home to three lighthouses. Rue Point Lighthouse sits at the southern tip of Rathlin, only 2.5 miles from Fair Head and this light has been operating since 1921. Only 35 feet above sea level, it is now fully automated and has a 14 nautical mile range. Photography by Tom McDonnell.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
