Poster produced in 1959 by British Railways (BR) to help promote train services to Scarborough, East Riding, Yorkshire. A fashionably dressed couple are climbing the steps behind Scarborough Spa. In the background the sandy beach stretches out towards the town and Scarborough Castle can be seen in the distance. The artist is unknown.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
