Poster produced for British Railways (BR) in 1961 to promote train services to Scarborough, Yorkshire. The unknown artist has chosen a twilight setting for this poster and shows a smartly dressed couple in evening wear on the balcony of Scarborough Spa. They are enjoying the sunset and the night lights reflections across the beach. In the distance, what remains of Scarborough Castle can be seen high on the cliff top.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
