Vintage travel poster produced in 1939 for the London & North Eastern Railway to promote travel to the beautiful seaside resort of Scarborough in Yorkshire. The poster advertises the new artificially heated sea-water outdoor swimming pool at Scarboroughs North Bay and shows people swimming and sunbathing. In the background the dominant headland, home to Scarborough Castle, is clearly visable. Artwork by Frank Henry Mason (1876-1965). Printed by S C Allen & Company Ltd, 20 Gerrard Street, London W1.
