Poster produced around the 1930’s by London Midland & Scottish Railway, (LMS). It promotes railway travel and the Ireland via Holyhead shipping route. The artist Norman Wilkinson has painted two anglers beside the river with a six arched stone bridge in background to help encourage ‘Sport on the LMS’.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
