Vintage Travel Poster produced for Southern Railway (SR) in 1928 to promote services to the South of France in summertime, a place promoted as 'inexpensive, amusing and gloriously warm'. The poster shows a view of the promenade and beach, which is filled with holidaymakers reclining under colourful sunshades and a speedboat moored at a jetty. Artwork by F Whatley. Printed by McCorquodale and Co Ltd of London.
