Travel poster produced for London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to Hastings & St Leonards in Sussex. In 1933 ‘The Famous Bathing Pool’ was opened measuring a massive 330 ft by 90 ft. A crowd of people can be seen enjoying the pool, diving boards and sunbathing deck. Artwork by Gerald Spencer Pryse (1881-1956).

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
