Vintage shipping poster produced for the Southern Railway (SR) to promote train ferry services from London Victoria to Paris. The poster shows the 'Twickenham Ferry' steamer ship transporting railway carriages from Dover to Dunkerque.  c1938.  Artwork by Walter Thomas. 

The writing in the poster says;

The new train ferry boats via Dover-Dunkerque
Sleeping cars every night between London (Victoria) and Paris,
Fast through services every day for goods and perishable traffic.
