Product Description

Poster produced by London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) in 1935 to promote rail travel to Scotland. The poster shows a view of the shimmering Firth of Forth river and the Forth Bridge in background. Artwork by Norman Wilkinson, who studied art at Portsmouth and Southsea Schools of Art. A famous marine painter, he designed posters for several railways and organised the Royal Academy series of posters for the London & Midlands Railway (LMR) in 1924.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.

Please select your size from the drop down menu.
