Poster produced for London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) and London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote travel to Tobermory in the Western Isles of Scotland. The poster shows a landscape view of the area, with trees, islands, the sea and mountains in the distance. 1923-1947. Artwork by Norman Wilkinson, who studied art at Portsmouth and Southsea Schools of Art. A famous marine painter, he designed posters for several railways and organised the Royal Academy series of posters for the London & Midlands Railway (LMR) in 1924.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
