The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, or VSOE, is a private luxury train service from London to Venice that is popularly referred to as the Orient Express. The opulent 1920-1930 style carriages offer possibly the ultimate experience into the elegant age of rail travel with delightful vintage cabins, elaborate cuisine and an itinerary of Europes finest romantic and scenic cities. This travel poster was produced in 1981 promoting the Orient Express which ran between London, Paris and Venice. Artist Pierre Fix-Masseau has captured the train leaving Victoria Station in London with the British Union Flag in the background.
 

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
