'Walton-on-Naze', LNER poster c 1930

Vintage travel poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway, ( LNER ) showing a view of this Essex coastal resort from a cliff-top golf course, beside a tower or folly. At this time Walton was a rapidly growing watering place with a pier (now one of the longest in Britain), esplanade and a fine beach and was famous for its fosils and antediluvian remains.
