Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) and London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote train services to the Western Highlands of Scotland. It shows a rugged rural glen with two children playing in the foreground. In the distance is a Loch and most probably the Grampian Mountains. Ben Nevis could possibly be hiding here in this unusual view. 1939. Artwork by S J Lamorna Birch (1869-1955).
