Travel poster produced for British Railways (BR) North Eastern Region to promote rail travel to the North Yorkshire seaside resort of Whitby. The poster shows a panoramic view of the beach, cliffs and sea. Whitby Abbey is visible in the distance. Artwork by Gyrth Russell (1892-1970).
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
