British Railways (North Eastern Region) produced this poster in 1958 to promote rail travel to the popular holiday destination of Whitley Bay. It shows a happy couple in fashionable evening dress strolling their white poodle along the seafront flower gardens. This night time illustration highlights the Spanish City fairground dome behind them and in the distance, the beams of St Marys Lighthouse are clearly visable. Artwork by Bryan Davies.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
