Product Description
This poster was produced for British Railways (BR) in 1950 to help promote rail travel to the City of York. The image in this poster was originally a photograph by Yorkshire Evening Press and was coloured by Arthur Peel to help beautify the freshness of springtime. It shows an unusual view of York Minster Cathedral with a bank full of daffodils bursting into bloom in the foreground.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
Please select your size from the drop down menu.
Any poster size of 70x100cm or smaller will fit many popular frames that can be purchased in framers and shops such as Ikea.
