Travel poster produced for British Railways (BR) to promote train services to York. Showing a stunning view of York Minster Cathedral, one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe which once sat within its own walled precinct, known as the Liberty of St Peter. 1948-1965. Artwork by Kenneth Steel (1906-1970).

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
