An old English poster produced by British Railways (BR) to promote rail travel to the sheltered harbour village of Staithes on the Yorkshire Coast. Once an important fishing centre and valuable source of minerals, it is now largely a tourist destination within the North York Moors National Park. The artist ‘B’ has painted two men with fishing equipment at their feet, overlooking the quaint red roofed village.
This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
